Our practice is based in Hampstead (NW3), near Belsize Park, with easy access from Highgate, Swiss Cottage, Chalk Farm, Primrose Hill and West Hampstead. Online sessions are also available for flexibility and convenience.
Unlike therapy platforms, we take a hands-on, personal approach, with Mandi overseeing each client’s journey to ensure the best match with a therapist.
Wherever you are in your journey, we will help you take the next step. Get in touch—we would love to hear from you.
We specialise in many different areas, such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, addiction, neurodiversity in children and adults, as well as relationship and family issues, allowing us to provide tailored individual help for a wide range of issues for adults, individual & couples, children & families.
Although we are all experts in several different fields, we all share the same approach of working with clients in an empathic, individual way, always focusing on your unique situation and your personal goals for therapy. We will provide you with a safe, confidential space to speak openly about how you are feeling. Mandi & Sebastian will ensure you are matched with the most appropriate therapist to meet your needs with the best approach to suit you. This could be short-term CBT (often incorporating mindfulness techniques) or person centred or long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy.
If you are interested in counselling or psychotherapy for yourself, as part of a couple, or for your family or child (ages 4 and up), please get in touch to book a free consultation. We offer confidential sessions in person at one of our 3 comfortable, private consulting rooms in Hampstead, North West London (just a short walk from Hampstead and Belsize Park tube stations) in Highgate or online, depending on what suits you best. We are here to offer flexible therapeutic support that fits in with your life and your current needs.

“I feel I have grown as a person since starting to come and see you and have developed the coping skills and insight to manage life so much better. The problems are still there (that’s life), but the way I deal with them is so different that life finally feels less of a battle, and more of a joy!”
Counselling and Psychotherapy
There are many reasons why you might be considering counselling and psychotherapy. Perhaps you are going through something specific, such as family issues, a marriage break up, bereavement, depression, or addiction. You might be experiencing low mood/self-esteem, or feel like something in your life is wrong but can’t identify what it is. In moments like these, it is important to talk to someone in a safe, friendly, non-judgemental, strictly confidential space in order to process these emotions.
How Can Counselling and Psychotherapy Help?
For many people, having a safe space to talk through their issues can be extremely helpful. Being able to speak freely, without fear of judgement, reduces the role difficult emotions play in your daily thinking. We help you manage the present moment in a healthier way through a two-pronged approach: 1, providing CBT-based solutions to address current negative or difficult thought patterns and emotions, and 2, taking a deeper psychodynamic look at where these feelings originate from, to ensure they don’t continue to manifest in the future.
Counselling & psychotherapy are most effective when you apply insights gained during sessions to the rest of your week. Your therapist may set weekly homework (provided you are comfortable with this) such as writing down important pointers that allow you to further explore certain areas of your life. Take a look at our How We Work page to learn more about the different therapeutic styles provided by our team of professionals.

Many of our clients tell us they experience a greater depth and connection when they meet with us in person. In-person sessions offer a calm, supportive space where you can step away from daily demands and focus on yourself. Being in the room together allows the work to unfold at a natural pace and helps us build a grounded, trusting therapeutic relationship.
We also recognise that life can sometimes call for flexibility, and we want therapy to remain accessible during those moments. When needed, online sessions are available so you can continue your work with us while travelling or managing a busy schedule. You are welcome to move between in-person and online appointments if that supports your wellbeing and helps maintain continuity in your therapy.
We offer a free initial consultation to understand what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and how we can work together. This first conversation helps us get a sense of your needs and whether our approach feels right for you.

Many couples tell us they value having a calm, supportive space where both partners can step away from daily pressures and focus on their relationship. Meeting together in person helps the work unfold steadily and allows us to build a grounded, trusting connection with you both.
Every couple brings their own history, dynamics, and goals, so we tailor our approach to your needs. Sessions may include guided conversations, practical strategies, and reflective exercises designed to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and support healthier patterns in everyday life.
We recognise that routines can change, and flexibility matters. Online sessions are available when needed, allowing you to continue your work with us while travelling or managing a busy schedule. You are welcome to move between in-person and online appointments if that supports your progress.
Our aim is to help you build a stronger, more resilient relationship through thoughtful discussions, practical tools, and steady guidance.
We offer a free initial consultation to understand what brings you to couples therapy, what you hope to achieve, and how we can work together. This first conversation helps us understand your shared needs and ensure our approach feels right for both of you.

We provide a safe, supportive environment where children can express their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. We recognise that children, including those who are neurodiverse, may face unique challenges when it comes to articulating their emotions, and we aim to meet them with patience and understanding.
Our therapists use age-appropriate, tailored techniques such as play therapy and creative activities to help children explore their emotions in a way that feels comfortable. Whether a child is experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, school-related difficulties, or needs support with neurodiversity such as ADHD or autism, we work closely with both the child and their family to understand their needs and provide thoughtful, effective support.
We begin with a free parent-only initial consultation, to gain a clear understanding of your child’s needs. This first meeting gives us a clearer picture of your child’s needs so we can offer the right support.
For children under 11, we recommend an additional parent session to understand the family context and ensure we are offering the most effective therapeutic support.

That is why we offer a form of confidential workplace counselling that is personalised to the specific needs of each individual employee, acting as a more specialised alternative to larger and more conventional EAP (Employee Assisted Programme) providers.

Top Tips December 2025
Supporting Yourself Through Grief & the Holiday Season
National Grief Awareness Week – 2 December - 8 December
Honour your feelings:
Grief can feel heavier during the holidays. That’s normal
and to be expected.
Allow yourself to feel your feelings. You don’t have to “be festive” for
others. Accepting your emotions can reduce pressure and support your healing.
Create space for remembrance:
Whether your loss is recent or long ago, rituals can be
grounding.
Light a candle, look through photos, write their name in a card, or choose a
special ornament. Small acts of remembrance can bring comfort and connection
with those you have lost.
Set boundaries:
Grief drains energy, and December often demands more of us
than we can give.
It’s ok to leave early, say no to gatherings you don’t want to attend, or
change traditions to suit new circumstances. You don’t have to say yes to every
social invitation so choose what feels manageable for you.
Simplify the season:
Grief can make even small tasks feel overwhelming.
Reduce your to-do list. Buy fewer gifts, avoid last-minute shopping stress, or
delegate where possible. Prioritise rest over perfection.
Recognise triggers
Music, smells, locations, meals and films often spark grief
unexpectedly.
Notice what’s triggering you and plan ahead, whether that’s an early exit, a grounding
practice or a person you know you can call.
Ask for practical support:
When you're grieving, people often say “let me know if you
need anything” but you may not know what to ask for.
Choose something specific things you’d find helpful: childcare, a meal, help
wrapping gifts, or simply company. People usually don’t know how to help, but
would love the opportunity to give you what you need.
Seek connection, not comparison:
Holidays can amplify feelings of loneliness, especially when
social media shows everyone else celebrating with their family.
Limit scrolling and reach out to one trusted person instead. Open conversations
bring far more comfort than online comparisons.
Allow happiness, without guilt
Moments of happiness do not erase your grief or the
importance of your loss.
Allow joy to co-exist alongside sorrow as both are part of the healing process.
